How is made?
To create your planets alignment we use planetary ephemerides produced by NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The information we use is the same NASA uses to guide their space missions to their intended destinations, and so they are very accurate. This database catalogs the location of stars and planets since the year 1550 and makes projections until the year 2650.

It is accurate?
It is, but not in every way. The planets orbits are not a perfect circle, and are not the same distance from each other. The planets sizes are also out of scale. If the Sun was a pool ball, for example, Earth would be 20 feet away and would look like a grain of sand. In this way, we do our best to make it as accurate as possible and at the same time reproducible in an illustration.
